Communications and Partnerships Internship – Community Engagement & Events
The Communications and Partnerships Division is seeking an outgoing, community‑minded intern to support events, outreach, and grant review activities. This role is ideal for students interested in communications, marketing, public engagement, social media, or nonprofit/community work.
What You’ll Do
• Represent CSC at community events, resource tables, and sponsored activities
• Assist with photography and videography for social media content
• Support community meetings, including logistics and on‑site coordination
• Review and rate proposals from grassroots organizations
• Contribute to marketing, messaging, and event design
• Help plan and execute 40th anniversary events, including logistics, advertising, set‑up, and follow‑up.
Qualifications
• Personable, outgoing, and comfortable engaging diverse community members
• Understanding of local neighborhoods and residents
• Social media proficiency
• Communication, both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
