Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Probate Pleadings; multi–County Court docket review; maintenance of case status and review with attorney throughout the ongoing Probate process of hundreds of open cases. Includes, but is not limited to, preparation of Motions, Orders, Extensions of Time etc. in conjunction with matter status updates within our LEAP software program. Updates to EXCEL spreadsheets and use of WORD templates. Microsoft OFFICE, OUTLOOK experience preferred.
Description: Intern will work with JLC Attorneys and Staff to move Probate/Personal Injury matters through the court process to appoint Personal Representatives so that the Wrongful Death and Survivor cases can be pursued immediately. The Personal Injury firms’ litigation clients become our probate clients. We need someone eager to learn and assist in this very unique area of law.
