Description: Specifications and Key Dates for the Summer 2026 Internship Program
This internship will focus on the voting processes at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office. Students majoring in Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, Communications, Information Technology, and Logistics-related fields are encouraged to apply; however, all majors are eligible and will be considered.
Be aware that acceptance is contingent on interns working the entire 8-week program cycle. There will be optional 9th and 10th weeks based on your final assignment in the program.
If you are taking vacation time during the internship program, please let us know the dates when you submit your application. Vacation time cannot exceed five days or be within the date range from June 8, 2026, to June 19, 2026.
It is possible that required training and activities may take place outside our Main Office. We recommend having a reliable form of transportation.

- Personal statement (1-2 pages, double-spaced) addressing the following questions:

Applications are due at 5:00 pm on April 15, 2026. The internship will run from June 8, 2026, to July 31, 2026. The optional 9th and 10th weeks will be from August 3, 2026, through August 14, 2026.
