Key Responsibilities:
Performs skilled water safety work in preventing accidents and injuries at a County waterpark.
Safeguards patrons and enforces safety rules; rescues bathers in distress; performs emergency water rescue techniques; administers First Aid, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR,) or Automated External Defibrillator (AED) when necessary.
Provides positive and professional assistance to patrons; assists with routine facility maintenance.

Qualifications:
Must be a current student of an accredited schooling program, university/college.
Must be age 16 or older prior to date of application and pass required skill test.
 Necessary Special Requirement:Â
Must obtain American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguard Training/recognized equivalent Certification within 30 days of hire (course is available at the Waterpark for candidates recommended for hire).
